DESCRIPTION:Welcome to the second edition of the CLIC Mindset Sessions! 
 The Mindset Sessions are a series of four (4) online spaces for educators\
 , students\, administrators and other professionals to come together in op
 en\, thoughtful dialogue. This academic year (2026-2027)\, we turn our att
 ention to the urgent and complex work of decolonizing education.\n\n\nWhe
 ther you are new to these questions or have long been engaged in this work
 \, we would be very glad to have you with us. We especially welcome Indige
 nous scholars and allies.\n\n\nSession 1 – Recognizing White Supremacist
  Thinking in Education (Guided by Jaime Demperio\, UQAM\, and Nuria Alons

 We will begin by exploring key aspects of white supremacist culture in edu
 cation\, then open a collective conversation about how these patterns show
  up in our contexts\, how they affect teaching and learning\, and what mor
 e just alternatives might look like.\n\n\nSession 2  – Colonization and
  Decolonization in Education: Unpacking Power and Practice(Guided by Tiff
 any Hindbull-Prete\, University of Lethbridge)Tuesday\, June 913:30 PM –
  16:00 PM (EST)This session introduces the first of a three-session arc 
 exploring colonization\, decolonization\, and Indigenization in education.
  Participants will examine colonization as an ongoing structural process t
 hat continues to shape educational systems\, institutions\, and ways of kn
 owing. Through collaborative reflection and discussion\, participants will
  explore the relationship between historical colonial practices and contem
 porary educational experiences. \n\nPrix : Gratuit\n\n
