Titre : Smart Data Applications: Automating Data Collection for Business Education
Résumé :
What comes after Big Data? The concept of Smart Data has been introduced in ~2014 as the next research frontier to extrate value from large and complex databases. Nevertheless, the computational applications of the concept have been limited to data processing tasks. In this talk, I will present the current understanding of the literature on Smart Data, position it onto the broader Data Management Life Cycle, and propose an application to turn data acquisition tasks smart as well. The proof of concept will be applied to the study of markets and businesses to develop city profiles on demand, giving support to the students' learning of entrepreneurship and strategy.
