Projection du documentaire mexicain "Volverte a ver" pour la première fois avec des sous-titres en français !  

La projection sera suivie d'une discussion avec Magali Rocha Donnadieu (Productrice du film), Nora Nagels (UQAM), Tina Hilgers (Concordia University), Adriana Pozos (UQAM) et animée par Julián Durazo-Herrmann.

Synopsis du film :
Lina, Angy et Edith, deux mères et une proche de personnes disparues, se forment au métier de médecin légiste afin de participer à l'exhumation de plus de 200 corps que le bureau du procureur de Morelos (Mexique) a enterrés en secret. Le documentaire suit les femmes lors de leur formation au travail de médecine légale puis lorsqu'elles participent au déterrement des corps afin qu'ils puissent être remis aux familles et inhumés chez eux. Leur analyse révèle une réalité effrayante : l'État joue un rôle prépondérant dans le phénomène de disparitions forcées par le biais de ses fosses communes dissimulées.

Film Synopsis:
Lina, Angy and Edith, two mothers and a relative of missing persons, decide to train as forensic scientists to help exhume more than 200 bodies that the prosecutor's office in Morelos, Mexico, has buried in secret. The documentary follows the women as they receive training in forensic work and then participate in the exhumation of the bodies so that they can be returned to the families and buried in their homes. Their analysis reveals a shocking reality: the state plays a leading role in the phenomenon of enforced disappearances through its hidden mass graves.
